the bitter truths, the sad realities,
of a past unknown,
of a future uncertain.

Some prerequisites for a relationship might have been ours,
Did a true bond ever exist?
Were we ever really together?
Do you know what I sound like?
Have I ever knocked on your heart,
stirred your soul or
caused a vibration in your world?
Have you known what it feels like to truly miss someone,
to beg the heavens above to bring someone back
 just so they can hurt you more?

Alas! It matters to me still,
Where you are and what you have been up to, dear love.
If only to hurt me some more,

Worry about you so much
